She was a bee,
attracted by the sweet smell of melon.
She plodded through the sticky syrup,
and inscribed the skin with her tiny mouth.
The worker bee sang lightly about the slander Goddess had spoken,
and she flew back to her clan of 210 sisters.
Author notes
In many cultures bees are thought to be a sign of divinity.

Unique. This is really unique. And I like it. Quite quaint in its own right. The only thing that bothers me is that you have misspelt "cultures" in your AN. Otherwise this was a really nice piece, thank you for your entry.
