We're Not In Kansas Anymore

Missing image
He followed the yellow brick road and
Might have gotten lost along the way
Had he not asked for directions
I'm glad he did because
He found me

He already has a heart
It's just a little bruised
Like my knees
I'll click my heels, hun
Be brave
The witch is dead
And we're not in Kansas anymore.

I really liked the way that this reflected the prompt and the Wizard of Oz I loved that movie when I was little, and this brings a whole new light to it - I like the way it adds a few scratches the the shine - great poem!

prompt hun! I loved that movie
when I was a kid... and still do!
I like the feel this poem gives
    off while reading.. very intriguing,
    and beautifully constructed.
