He followed the yellow brick road and
Might have gotten lost along the way
Had he not asked for directions
I'm glad he did because
He found me
He already has a heart
It's just a little bruised
Like my knees
I'll click my heels, hun
Be brave
The witch is dead
And we're not in Kansas anymore.

I really liked the way that this reflected the prompt and the Wizard of Oz
I loved that movie when I was little, and this brings a whole new light to it - I like the way it adds a few scratches the the shine - great poem!

prompt hun! I loved that movie
when I was a kid... and still do!
I like the feel this poem gives
off while reading.. very intriguing,
and beautifully constructed.
