My Best Friends

I sit here alone, my door is locked.
Nothing to do, so I decide to write.
My first thought is friends, but I'm not shocked.
So I choose my friendship for tonight.

Doulton, Hailey, Shaylene, Kim and Brook.
They are my best of friends,
So I write those 5 names in my book.
They promised forever, so our friendship extends.

I wonder if they wouldn't like that I said their names...
But they probably won't read this, so it's okay.
If they don't like it I can delete it, or light my book in flames.
My thoughts are done, so I begin to write away.

"Doulton"
My boyfriend. My lover. My all time best friend.
I love him the most; he is my favorite-(No offence!)
He is so amazing; I hope his love isn't pretend,
he treats me so perfect, our love is intense.

"Hailey"
Best friends, forever- because we were in it together.
Bad times and good times, but the crash saved our friendship,
there are straps that tie us tight, even tighter then leather.
I guess we have been in fights, but our friendship has a good grip.

"Shaylene"
Another best friend, since 4th grade.
We were really good friends, cause she had a bad life.
When her mom fought with her, she came to me when she was afraid...
I'm glad I saved her, cause she would either go to me or a knife....

"Kim"
One of the best! Friends since 3rd grade!
We hung out all the time, until she moved,
but it was alright; we would hang out and still played.
And when she met Doulton, she completely approved.

"Brooke"
The best you will ever meet. Sorry ya guys...
We were friends since I was three, I moved away later on.
We still hang out in the summer, which isn't a surprise,
cause I promised too- friends forever, even when I'm gone!

So there are my friends. The best of them all.
Without them I would be sad, or really, really bad.
I'll catch them when things go wrong, they will catch me if I fall.
We are friends forever, and for that I am glad.
