Grain by grain the mountain grows,
each day that passes casts a bigger shadow
on what was once the tiniest little hill.
The big wheels churning as today’s old
was yesterdays new,
woodlands stripped and turned into cesspits
in a bid to hide such a massive mess.
Ever growing is the need for even more space for it all,
what happens when we can no longer bury our mess,
shall we then launch it into space
and let it float around for eternity.

Welcome to AllPoetry!
This is a beautiful write; you have lovely imagery and emotion... the only thing I could recommend is breaking it up into stanzas
Well done on a great start!
I hope that you come to enjoy this site as much as I do, and if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask me!!
Best of luck with your future writing,

this is a wonderful piece and i adore the emotion and effort in this but the set up is horrible try stanzas and breaking up of your sentances to assist in the flow
