the most impossible to overcome
the most impossilbe to beat
i try to get some inspiration
from anything my senses meet
i try to get some propmting
on the contests that are here
but a lot of them don't inspire me
my mind just won't adhere
the beauty in life seems to tease me
"write about us" they mock
but i cannot, i cannot overcome
that stupid writer's block.

hahaha I love how you overcame writer's block by writing about writer's block haha. This was very genius, I enjoyed it immensely. Oh and sorry for commenting on a lot of your poetry, I just wanted to read something so I was like "Why not read all of Callie's poems" so i did.

hahaha you do NOT know how often i feel EXACTLY like this! especially i felt this way today. you explained writers block so perfectly. (by the way i am always going through contests to see what stuff can inspire me and NOTHING ever seems good when i'm suffering from writers block!) but honestly a greta desription in a poem, plus the rhymign was good strong rhyming! a very well penned piece!

haha! this is EXACTLY what i go through during writers block. I think it might be block season, recently neither myself nor many of my friends have posted much recently...
maybe it's something in the air? lol
anywho, i love the poem, very good rhymes, ,upbeat pace, all the workings of of a good poem
