Pokerface

diamonds, clubs, spades
your cheating again
hiding the queen of hearts beneath your filthy sleeve
playing your crazy, twisted card games

poker chips fly across the room
oops, i think that was a book
oh well, you deserved it
the queen of spades has left the building

hearts can't cut
that's what i have that she doesn't
the nerve to hurt
the nerve to hurt those who deserve hurting

cutting, cutting, cutting,
just on the surface of the the skin
gives you pain, blood, and scars
poor you, but you deserve it

now everything you eat may be poisoned, everything you touch filled with razors
that's just me, the queen of spades, hiding behind all those clubs
waiting to strike, waiting to watch you suffer

    hmmm.. i liked this. it is mysterious and ominous. very very powerful feel, it did feel like the voice was yelling at some parts but i think that was probably intended in the tone, if not well then you are lucky and this layed out nicely on it's own! thanks for letting me read!

    The begining was a little odd but still good and I did like the verses "poker chips fly across the room
    oops, i think that was a book
    oh well, you deserved it" but other than that I had a hard time getting into the feel of the poem. It almost felt like you forced it a little too hard.
    Don't give up though, living and learning go hand in hand. So just practice and someday you win over crowds!

    oh i love this so much. im in the mood for poetry like that. i dont think ive ever been so angry in my life and i love this poem. i love it so much. its amazing!!
