Drip drip dripping
The blackness of ink
But the reason and meaning
Is not what you think

The blood of my words
With the passing of time
As I struggle to strong
My words into rhyme

The pressure overwhelms
And the air becomes cold
And I start my known journey
On this long lonely road

The light becomes shrouded
And the vision is blurred
The sky turns black
But my screams never heard

All becomes silent
Cept my breathing so sound
My footsteps come light
Tracing fire on the ground

My tracks grow swollen
And my breathing soon hard
I try to escape
But my way’s soon barred

But then you appear
And my heart skips a beat
I’m floored by your presence
I must call defeat

For you’ve taken my heart
And away you’ve gone
This one little moment
I’ve waited so long

But I’m a bit confused
Question I must
Is this real love
