Thirsty

Missing image

~~~~~
Pop open the top to my aluminum brain
and give me the bubble and burp
of something with sizzle
I’m tired of the generic taste
of too much time wasted
on sugar sweet happy days
that go flat in the heat
Fuck that anyway
I want to slice open the arteries
and suck on the substance
of every pump of the muscle
and feel the sting in the fire
as it explodes from the overload
Oh God ... Jesus please ...
just open me
    I award this piece of poetry an honoury "ology" for its frenetic fuckology, it has a feisty voice, the dare-you-to- depth of feeling was felt. Especially liked " I'm tired of the generic taste" The write was strong from the first word exploding with a sound and action to the last, finishing on the focus of the first person. It wasn't a needy me, me, me, poem but a poetic plea to only be savoured for one's own natural flavour. Lip smackingly good
    Can I just give this a big WOW.... such depth. It read fast but for some odd reason I couldn't help myself but I had to read it outloud.... it sounded so good and deep.
    Do you mind if I bookmarked for later reads???
    I mean I always ask to be polite because some people mind it and some people don't.
    Nice job here.
