My Best Friend

In life you need a back up plan,
a safety net, a go to man.
someone who's there at any time,
someone who's there to make things fine.
you need a friend to keep life steady,
for me, that friend is Nick Pompetti.
the best of the best, i can't live without him,
the greatest kid i have ever met, i will never doubt him.
when i'm feeling my worst, he always comes through,
he can always cheer me up, always knows what to do.
i would die for that kid, as he would for me,
and i know for a fact that there's nobody better than he.
there just isn't anyone out there,
that i can better relate to.
he is truly the only person
that i'm really not afraid to
be my self around,
and it may sound profound,
but even though people spend years searching for this type of friendship,
it's something i've already found.
cause when it comes to him, nobody else can compare,
this kind of friendship's extremely unique,
the connection is just there.
he's the one that knows me best,
probably cause he's better than the rest.
so nick,i just wanna let you know, you're my best friend,
and i have no doubt about it, it'll stay that way until the end.
