I didn't know what was going on
It was all a stagnant lie
As far as I could tell
Blast furnace always set on 'high'
Bringing us down to hell
Paranoia every day
Who are they gonna take away?
Waiting for visitors that never come
Chewing my nails 'till they bleed
Watching the nurse scurry 'round
Try to get the pills down
But they're too dry, as always
So, a Dixie cup of water is my savior
Today, but that isn't always...

I don't really know why I'm here...
I've asked a thousand times
Got the same damned answer
Always set in different rhymes
And they expect me to remember?!

Anyone care to knock me on my delightfully off-beat ass today? :)

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

(And all I wanted was a pepsi! You might not get that, most metalheads should though.)

Yea, the POV is a bit crazy in this poem.
