In life we are fed many trials
After all this is a school of learning for the spirit
You have learned this as time has gone by
The pain unfortunately still buried
in your subconscious mind
Still there but under control
Those memories sometimes surface
bringing a moment of pain
before you lift yourself up and
push them back down into
that place where old memories hide
You are a survivor
You have conquered and come out
slightly scarred but not totally damaged
Your thoughts are who you are now
They make you the strong wise woman
who sees, shakes her head but does not judge
You have become wisdom
You know the struggles
You can be the teacher
No longer the student
But still willing to learn those things
that you still want to explore
Author notes
I have not read all your poems. But I did read a few of them that I loved and commented on.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read some of my poetry. Since this is an anonamous contest, I will unfortunately not be able to tell who made the comments. Maybe when the contest has been judged, you can reveal yourself to me! You have really hit deep on my character.
I have been through many battles and more of a survivor than you know.
Thank you for entering my contest.
