Rowboat

I have suffered alone.

The sheer force of this state of mind
Hit me like a thousand bright lights and hurricanes.
And I have struggled indescribably
I have paddled this boat in circles around the ocean
And then I just let go...

Drifting to somewhere that is nowhere
There isn't anybody
That can see inside my head now
A thinner fog to settle over my mind
A girl who's predisposed
To leaving everyone behind...

Please tell me what you think

I have come to the realisation that poetry doesn't really tell new stories or weave new truths, it merely tells it from a different perspective. the same truth is magnified by the relevance in which it is being told...
"And then I just let go..."
...that's just exactly what I want to do in this moment...
    Let go.
    Beautiful piece, Roxie.
