a quiet and honorable man
that has touched my heart
from the very first moment we spoke
He touched me so deep down
in places I never knew existed
a love formed
like nothing I have ever felt
I have known love
have felt “in love”
thought I had found the one
“home” as they call it
But it was clouded
mere mistakes
mind games
like nothing of what I was soon to find
The moment I met this man
first touch of his hand
my world
changed
The depth of his eyes
the feel of his skin under mine
the memories of him
over-whelmed me
That first time
was like nothing I had ever known
a bright light shot through me
like that of the heavens and the stars
It was like two pieces of a broken entity
had formed back into itself
oneness
complete
It was then
that I knew
he was “the one”
