Silence of the Night

In the silence of the night
her brown eyes cast an eerie glow
over the darkness of the room,
she closed the curtains and came
to her lover where she lay next to him.

They had come full circle in this lovers
tryst, the emotion full and flying in
the evening air; the two of them found
that they were lovers and friend(s), soon
to be more to each others hands.

The sounds from outside are quietly
muted in this room of love, the blocks
of windows glowing with the neon signs,
their dance of love now begins in a sweet,
sweet miracle of love, you spiral around me.

The music of the dance takes the
attitude of forever in this the world
of  love as your fingers touch my body
in that thing they call passion, my laugh
is the miracle of emotion that holds us together,
FOREVER
