She’s the antidote to this poison,
Which has plagued my very existence,
Curing me of this heartache.
However in all that she does for me,
She’ll never begin to imagine,
How much she means to me.
She’s the water to my pill,
Without her I’d have a distaste for it,
Helping me through times of depression.
However she starts realizing,
How much I do love her,
And that makes our relationship even stronger.
She’s the milk for my cookie,
Which together may seem not so good of a combo,
But once tried is exquisite.
She makes me appreciate life more,
Which in turn allows me to do the same with her,
In hopes that this emotion will carry on through the years.
She’s the missing piece to the puzzle,
Without her I’m incomplete,
But with her she completes me.
She helps me out when I need it most,
When it comes to those things I can’t do,
Which makes this life even more interesting.
Author notes
This isn't done, it's just an idea that formed, and I wanted to post it. Gonna modify as I go. It seems though that the first stanza is better than the rest of the poem so far, what do you think?
