Missing image

I can't dance
My toe drags across the floor
As I watch the rain fall
to the pavement
Mimicing my tears
"Mommy,
This dress is too long!!"
I cry as I trip on its ribbons

it was so much easier
in daddy's arms
without my feet to hinder me

Dear God,
Mommy & Daddy say that
If I pray to you you'll answer
Can I please have some new feet?
