You are not you.
You are one-
of many.
Searching for the essence of yourself,
to be called "I."
Through space and time you wander,
Not lost but unfamiliar.
Your circumstances follow your choices,
but it is your experiences that define you.
As you climb toward that which is invincible to man,
The great sky that floats upon a never ending horizon,
"Why?" is encountered;
It is not a question but a lesson learned in time.
So make the best and be a hero to your mind.
Doing time is not a punishment.
Yesterday is but a dream,
Tomorrow, a vision for the blind.
One day you will emerge with triumph in your eyes.
You are not you.
You are "I."
I am one-
with myself.

no words to describe this
I don't even know what to say this is an amazing poem. you are more of a poet than I am and will ever be. I only wish I could write like you. The way you described time. It made time seem almost unreal. Like a mystery left for time to tell. I really like the part where it says
Doing time is not a punishment.
Yesterday is but a dream,
Tomorrow, a vision for the blind.
It is so descriptive and I like the wya it flows. I like thinking of time in these terms. Yesterday can sometimes seem like a dream and I have been unsure before if it really happened. Tomorrow... well a vision for the blind is a very good way to describe it. No one can see tomorrow.
I would not change a single thing about this poem. The way it flows. The way it sounds. The descripions and words you used. They are all perfect. I wish to one day be as good of a poet as you...
