looking back

I look into the mirror and I see, me
me with all my flaws, my pain, my memories
the picture is clear,
its like the lake I've cried,
which is still; for now

looking into the mirror, I see
the scars, of my life, thats like a mountin
its easy, but then gets tough
a gentle slope then a sheer climb

    Wonderful take on the prompt

its like the lake I've cried,
    which is still; for now

the scars, of my life, thats like a mountin
its easy, but then gets tough
a gentle slope then a sheer climb

I like the whole poem but I really like the comparisons you used in these lines.

    Good luck in the contest.
