if he knew
how i contemplate
-stay up late thinking
string myself along
write a song about it
while i'm sinking
into him
how it all begins
with a caress of wind
a stirring inside
as i close my eyes and imagine
the music we make
-takes my breath away
this rythmn
how it plays me into sunrise
softly moaning
at the wonder of it all
half-asleep
still dreaming
stirring underneath
cool sheets
daybreak spinning
through the room
his song in my head
i wake-
with music on my lips
kissing morning
Please tell me what you think

I have missed visiting ap and reading all the wonderful and inspiring words of people I admire and discovering fresh new poets and styles - I especially missed following your journey and the beat of your life through your poetry - reading this makes me realise how much so - your voice is like the lull of a favourite tune that you wake to - soft and gentle after a wonderful nights rest - languid and soothing while invigorating the waking flesh

Oh, gosh girl. This inspires me to pick up my guitar and do something. Is something already done?
So lovely and basic. I just love it.

I was wondering if you played the acoustic? Something P.J Harvey about this piece. It makes me want to play the acoustic...oh...and be able to sing.

some kind of tune... strummed, blown or stroked? probably depends on the instrument...

painful
To love someone with such passion & they no longer care.
( my survival mechaninism will not allow me to want someone that does not want me)
Your pain is also their loss.
