Forever And For Always



Her eyes tell of the fortress winds that cast upon her soul
How the sand crumbles beneath the tiding waves
The color of her gaze has become that of grey mist
A stream of fallen tears cannot even speak words…

How I would love to see her truest eyes again
That have a dash of mystery and a sprinkle of morning dew
How I crave to see the light of that of a little girls eyes
Swinging among the wildflowers on her tire swing

I wish to see her smile appear once again
For her eyes to once again to sing to me
And for her to be my Punkalicious Princess
With never ending talk of our ‘boys’ and punk rock music…

A friend grieves with a friend in sadness and loss
A friend fights pain with a friend who needs to heal
A friend loves with a friend when things are going wrong
A friend rejoices with a friend when love comes her way…

I wish that I can be this type of friend to her
Because I know that she will be always there for me
And how I wish to long and hold her
Like the whishing limbs of a willow tree

It seems to be that love just comes and goes
And hate and sadness stray to last forever
But please try to remember, Avalon
That your best friend is always here for you
Forever and For Always

This is another poem dedicated to my best friend, Avalon! I wrote this for her whenever she was going through a hard time in her life. =) I love you always, Avalon!!
