but the world continues spinning.
why is that?
why is it that when you think things aren't working
you try to fix them
but only end up making it worse?
why is it that when you try so hard
to close your heart
it only opens more
why?
why is it that i was so upset, so angry
i was really to give up?
why is it that when i finally open my eyes
finally take the courage to take a step
i took the step that went far from the right path
why is it that i left you there...
by the right path when i took the wrong?
will you still be there?
waiting?

ah, many of these questions cannot really be answered though some can... I could not help thinking of "The Road Less Traveled" by Frost.... fine write here and I liked it a ton...

I like this piece, Hon. It reflects what so many of us go through from time to time. I've found over the years, though that even if we stray from the best path sometimes, we just need to give ourselves a nudge and trust in God to lead the way. He will, but it's up to each of us to do recognize which is right.
