Bubble gum, bubble dumb,
On the bottom of my shoe;
You should have to get a license,
To be allowed to chew:
Bubble gum, bubble dumb,
As I went to move the table,
My fingers find a softened wad;
Eeeuuuooooooooooooo!
If I knew who,
And I were able:
Bubble gum, bubble dumb,
See it strung now in your hair;
See me laughing in the corner,
As the people stop and stare.

i enjoy reading poems and this one is good. you took something ordinary and turned it into a work of art

I've got to admit, I am creative; well I guess I don't have to admit it, unless I was being waterboarded or something; oh well anyway, if you would like to check out some of my real fine modern art, check out my poem "The Dead Toad" http://allpoetry.com/poem/5117145 I created the image there in Microsoft Paint using the decrepitly old Windows 98.

i like this poem, it is very creative

I rather enjoyed this one but found the "CRY" in the central verse a trifle forced and distracting because it halted the flow. A good smile though.

very nice and lighthearted, it definatly made me smile. best of luck in the contest x

This is not in the slightest amusing. Bubble gum is totally and utterly disgusting and I would personally crucify anyone using it.

This was great!!
Very clever and cute..
It made me think of those times when I discovered
the Bubblegum mishaps.
Very nice write made me laugh and I thank you
for that.
The very best to you in the contest.
Take care

Superb Plus
I loved your sense of humor in this write. Imager; rhythm and rhyme are just fine. Thanks for sharing this one with us.
