I have felt such joy and sadness,
from souls upon my seat.
From tears of joy on wedding days,
to death and its defeat.
Felt the weight of heavy burdens,
mighty heavy a load.
Heard the tears of new Salvation,
many lost, found God's road.
Listening to sounds of stillness,
yes, I heard some snoring.
Heard many long winded sermons,
some, they were quite boring.
I felt God's presence everyday,
filling their hearts with love.
The sounds of pipe organs playing,
lifted to God above.
Heard Hallelujah and Amen,
sun shone through stained glass.
Heard souls cry out for forgiveness,
God said, this too shall pass.
With souls who weathered the storm,
here in church I still stand.
A little worn but strong enough,
still here, lending a hand.

It is of God's good will that you speak for it the pews could talk there would no longer be a church, we humans have learnt to follow traditions and uphold institutions.
Yet it is in the very heart that God and all the angels live, for we carry those things we hold dear safely within to serve as our reservoir of hope, of neverending love for the true power of Grace when given freely and warmly it shall be returned.
I like it, I like it so!
