Holiday lights strung over the vanity
And last night’s love-warmth light my cheeks -
And touches the silvered red to gold-
Mirror-twin smooths her fingers over the smile
Recalls
when I became a bride for your eyes-
Brow crinkled tight against all nervous light
Quaking flowers stilled by your smile as we met-
Even before the walk across, you sealed me-
Yours!
There you married me with your eyes
You were beautiful.
~*~
The breakfast sun serves truth upon his generous plate
Bids us partake-
Before you shade your eyes to the morning glare,
You still see me a bride in your eyes
The corners wrinkle up
When you shine that bridegroom smile-
Our kiss good bye for the day seals you-
Mine!
In that welcoming place behind your eyes
I am beautiful.
~*~
When lilac clouds the eastern moon
In the evening of our walk together
A halted step
Always will I be the bride of your eyes
In starry wink we'll meet
Though faces lined and hands infirm,
The vision never shaken from this trusted seal-
Ours!
When the bridegroom's light beckons still in your eyes,
We will be beautiful.

I see no need for revision, aside from my contest having closed. That was a wonderful poem and the imagery was divine! "There you married me with your eyes". Ah, I am not one to gush but wow!
