Hands Of Hope

Put your hands in the hands of hope, triumph and freedom,
Put your hands in the hands of love and everything else beautiful.
Look around at the world and you'll see you can make
a difference to those who are suffering,
By enfolding your arms to your heart and saying
"I believe in me."

Put your love in the circle of inner faith and prosperity,
Put your love in the world of living confidentally.
Hold your head to the sun and you'll see
You can accomplish anything you want
By flashing a smile to your faith and saying
"I can live just free."

Put your time to a better world of nonviolence and bonding,
Put your time to a life of understanding and unconditional acceptance.
Look around and see that people exist in all sizes, shapes and colors;
Look in the mirror with a smile and say
"Every person's unique."

Say I love you, I love you, I love you
To each person you believe is special.
Say I love you my friend
As a good deed to your heart as well as someone else's.
Know each day I love you
Is so important,
So very important to say

Say "I love you" as much as possible
Each and every day.

Put your hands in the hands of hope, triumph and freedom,

Look around and accept people are of all sizes, shapes and colors;

There will be peace.

    I agree this is very thought provoking and also refreshing as poems these days tend to be so dark.

      That's true Billy. Times are rather dark these days. But it's important to preserve the light within ourselves by simply being and doing the best we can to make life a joy. Being loving and friendly towards one another, taking decent care of ourselves. Thanks for commenting.
