She notices him across the hall,
smiling as he notices her dress.
She says to herself, "Did he notice?
I done everything to look my best."
In classes it's hard to pay attention,
but its so hard not to stare.
her eyes make his heart leap,
to him, life is just not fair.
They both love each other,
but how could they tell?
being " just friends" is hard.
Their feelings make them wanna yell.
At lunch he says "hey beautiful"
just trying to make her smile,
as he sits next to her blushing.
Starting a conversation that goes on for miles.
Today they flirt just as normal,
as they open there mouth to say,
"I love you", but they feel nervous.
They'll tell each other tomorrow or the next day.

This is a poem when I really liked a friend.When he read this,he ended up asking me out. It really worked!!
