It's so familiar and comforting to me
to you, just a foreign scent; nothing
Sitting on the inside, looking out
I imagine the next time I'll see you
The next time to feel some sort of relief
the next time I'll be able to breathe
Maybe waiting won't be so bad
holding my own head up, it's not so bad
but I can't, your scent is the only thing
that makes me feel safe
gentle movements in my mind
back and forth, torturous thoughts
I just want to smell your scent again
it's so familiar, when it happens, it's the best
I wrap my arms around you tight
and all I do is breathe
in and out, take it in slowly
nothing in the world could be more perfect
