So long had I dreamed
And in the fashion of dreams
The lines had been blurred
So long had I dreamed
Waking up seemed impossible
And I lost more and more of myself
Every waking moment
So long was this dream
That reality seemed false
and the dreams were taking over for me
Then one day
The soft silvered light of the moon
Fell on me
As I began to awake
The awakening was harsh
It took time to adjust
But it was made gentler
That awakening changed me
Turned me into someone who had thought
Emotions and opinions
It opened my world
The awakening was required
The dreaming was my self destruction
For a time I fought both worlds
There was help through that transition
In the guise of the epitome of humanity
Humanity is lost...
I wish to rejoin the dreaming.
