will we all speak a common tongue?
[born of an ache in the spirit
we know is felt by others]
a language like poetry
where feelings will stand in the sun
bared wants and needs bathed in moonlight
and our truths like old threadbare sweaters
we pass to our dear ones, that they
will wear a piece of us, sense a vision
as we stood in an ordinary moment,
unaware of eyes
and then, remember
In a list
Please tell me what you think

What incredible communion you write about here... a commonality a bond, a union with others and the world around us... and through words (like sweaters--cool) to both share our understanding and inspire those to follow to seek to fill that same ache, to learn from us, to bond with others.
There is such a purity in these, my favorite lines, "as we stood in an ordinary moment,
unaware of eyes".......a truth so unpretentious that the ordinary becomes a noteworthy reminder of what was before, of what is lasting, of what we can share with others. Communion. Love it.

Ah, what a pertinent question,
one of wishes passed on to others--
in the midst of raucous language
of unpleaseantries bombarding.
"and our truths like old threadbare sweaters..."
A comforting thought, the worn and comfy---
Nothing ordinary about the words of PK!

Is a rare heritage, our truths, spoken or written to echo further in the mind of those who are important to us.
So nice the comparison to old sweaters you show here.
I like your ink and the prints your pen leaves

Thank you Mari-
I think this is an idea that gets lost in the computer age, that we have this to give, and in a world that changes so fast, some parts don't really change at all, these ideas help us to truly see the world, decide the meaning of things...so I really appreciate your comment, that was exactly what I wanted...to pass on..
thanks for all ...h
