By the Pool

Laying there under the hot beautiful sun
Letting the rays kiss your skin
The environment perfect
Kids shouting laughing and playing
The water beautiful blue and crystal clear
Just close your eyes and relax
Let things flow over you
As the sweat begins to bead upon your skin
You decide to get up off the chaise lounge
And step into the pool
The water laps at your hot skin
Cooling you off and allowing you to relax even further
Diving under the water you swim
Allowing your body temperature to drop a degree or two
As you surface, water drops race down and back to the pool
Returning to the steps, you sit for a moment
And gradually you start all over again working on that beautiful tan
