Amass on me now, yee of social networking;
A plague of mass-market interruptions,
Of friendship and oh so public betrayals.
A bittersweet pill of unrestricted commenting.
To hide is to drown amidst the complete,
The utter pointlessness of it all.
Add me, if you will, or cast me to the side
Of the colossus of the undesirable.
I’ve stood upon your plinth, resigned
To the prying of eyes and prodding
Of sharpened arrow heads of decision.
Mark me as you will for my body degrades
Even as you carve up my soul.
