He hides in his room
and falls to the shadows.
He sings a song
to make himself feel better.
He wonders where he's at,
How did he get there
Where has he been.
What did he take
To make himself like this?
Chorus
Its a silly little fad
Just to clear your head.
Yeah, a silly little fad
Leaves you wishing you were dead.
Its a silly little fad
Best left unsaid
Who knew it would be so bad
To leave you wishing you were dead.
He's scared out of his mind
Doesn't know what's going on,
He's going to end all his confusion
With the sound of a gun.
He grabs it in a hurry
But pauses froma moment,
Saying Goodbye Mom Goodbye Dad,
But most of all,
Bye to this fad.
Chorus
And..

a good piece, ah life, it has its mad phases, little fads yes, and some of them can be very deadly indeed.

I love how you call it "a silly little fad," that's so true. It's sad how kids ruin or end their lives because of peer pressure and depression. These lyrics portray that well.
It'd be interesting to hear the music that goes with this. -
I like it
This poem reminds me of the teenagers who're depressed and going to take their lives to solve their problems. It seems like the fad didn't work, did it? Has a depressing tone, which works well for the poem, and the rhythm's perfect.
The last couplet... perfect. Couldn't end it any better.I like the music in this poem. A steady stream of long vowel sounds kept me relax as if I know I am going to die.
Overall liked it, and I don't see any problems with it. I'm still a beginner at poetry, so I'm sorry if I can't be much better help.
Good job!
