The Wispers Of Prayer

A sigh excapes his lips
As tears slide down his face.
His body shakes as fear grips
He prays for a better place

His mind aches
And his heart is set a quiver
And he thinks of his lifes mistakes
Things can end so quickly, he shivers

His soul is searching....
Something besides a bitter end.
His heart is bleading
For the crimes he wants to amend.

A shudder excapes,
He prays: "God, take away my pain,
Leave me unbroken,
With only Love to attain."

"Push out the deeds of wrong, as they are, softspoken.
Fill my soul with your breath,
And leave me spiritualy sound."

After his prayer,
He curls his broken body
Remembering his last memory of him.
Then a voice enters his soul.

"Listen my son,
You have not come to know me well
But my rein in your heart has begun.
No longer these painful memories will you mind dwell."

"Push out the pain,
And wipe your tears
For my love has your heart contained.
Now stand, for sorrow you heart no longer bears."

Pushing himself from the floor,
He wipes his face
For when God closes a window, he opens a door.
And out of his heart, fear is chased.
