Crackling bones
Gray hair
Husky voice
Do I have a choice?
I walk slowly can't say if it is surely
though, I got tripped that often
I hold my cane for my support
Can't stand that long even in my fullest effort
I wanna play with my kiddos
To chase a butterfly and fetch some flowers
But my back aches so much
I can hear it, sounds like a crunch
Time moves so fast
Yonder years never more
This unlikely feeling..
It might have had something to do with old age.

Beautiful work on this, almost humourous, but then again, not so funny when you really start to think about it. I used to have the biggest fear of growing old... I still do, but I think my biggest fear, is my kids growing up! Thankyou for entering this into my contest, and good luck

yes, I can attest that old age surely does affect our ability to romp and play with the young ones. Your write shows this vividly. thank you for entering

What a great write. It's terrible how age hinders us when we are still young at heart. Nicely done. Thanks so much for entering.
