I am so tired of everyone
forcing their religious
beliefs, without any
regard to my feelings
Everyone else is right
and I am wrong
Our ancestors came here
to flee religious persecution
and then they burned, hanged
my ancestors, the witches...
I think people should allow others
the right to believe what they do
and not always assume that they
are correct and everyone else
who isn't carrying around a five
pound Bible and a crucifix around
their neck, is all going to a Hell
that some may not believe in
Everyone needs to practice the
love they always speak of...

you have penned truths here! I stand without discrimination or judgement ever! I feel every one has the right to choose his or her own way and is entitled to there own opinion and have the courtesy not to force it on one another, you are so right about this part:

Our founding fathers who where Christians fled Europe to escape the oppression held by the church with a vise grip, the freedom to choose is the best thing America has, they need to utilize that principal more,

Beautiful write and such a powerful message. I think it's important to allow people to believe what they want without any backlash for what they believe in. All I can say is I also feel your pain. I'm an atheist with philosophical beliefs of reincarnation being recycled remnants from supernovas. That gets some people going, believe me.

even though I believe in God~ I would be foolish
to disregard the beliefs of others and certainly do not question what another believes in - what right do I have to do such? I am Blessed to have You in my Life~ and support Your right to choose whichever religion You feel comfortable with
What kind of Friend would judge another in that capacity- I am sorry You endured such questioning
Nobody should be *forcing* You to believe anything What makes these others who question right- it is *their* opinion...
I think I am right for what works for me-
but my ideals may not work for another- Oy!

i feel your pain i am an atheist and thusly hated by everyone. i feel the big three are the worst. it is true america was not founded to be a religios country yet we are the extremely religious. its sad
