Grandmother You Have Done It Again!

All through the night,

I sit up and cry about all the people who died in the hurricane.
But, somehow you always make it better.
I wonder what I would do if I didn't have you.
You hush me and assure me that before that happens

I'll be older and can take it better.
You tell me everything is going to be alright.

Little do you know I feel as long as I am with you

I know
Every Thing Will Be All Right.

Author notes

    AWESOME!

Sweetie Pie, What a great tribute to your remarkable grandmother. This is such a nice way of expressing how you feel about her & the hope and the light she adds to your life. There is nothing in this poem that could ever, or should ever, be changed, it is wonderful! Great job young lady, you made me get teary eyed. You know I have been waiting for this one and I can tell you it was worth the wait! .....Your Friend, DeeDee
