Just beneath daybreak
my eyes call for more light
a sleepy yawn
to greet the dawn
and bid farewell to night.
Hearing you breathing
Even slumber's snore
As I reminisce
Of evening's last kiss
yet still desiring more.
Calling of passion
Your body's dance with mine
Heightened sensation
anticipation
our summit joined we climb.
Afterglow moment
wrapped within our love
my head on your chest
our bodies at rest
as the sun rises above.

This was a wonderful piece about love, and the union of two people. Basking in the afterglow of their climatic passion, wrapped in each others embrace. Very vivid imagery here. A very beautiful poem indeed. Well done Montie.
