Deck rocking, we all start our last journey
Those of us who this day died
Bit the steel of the sword
And felt the arrow's pierce
Bled the earth red
Fighting for Kings
Woman at home
She was with child when I left
Two falls ago
I saw her just before I passed
Before the sword destroyed my heart
She was in a field
Wind in her hair, sun on her back
And then I'm on the river Stix
Men I've killed today here
Men I know still coming
My heart not beating
Tho it still pulses
A pounding rhythm in my head
The steady pound of the drum
As the oars push water
Faces in the water
Long since passed
The sky is a brilliant purple
Strange red clouds in the sky
Fading to dark on the far bank
Closer with each oar's stroke
Judgment awaits.

I loved this entry, I assume it's option 15? Please put that into your AN. Otherwise I loved the imagery and it gave me this feeling of an epic battle between vikings. I liked it quite a lot. Thanx for entering.
