Land of Misfortune

I have found myself
bedazzled
unable to comprehend
surreal-
grossly enchanted
in a reckoned
yet vibrant realm
I travelled,
unknowingly to
The Land of Misfortune
overwhelmed,
unimagined
a cricket grabs my hand.
"Welcome, my guest...
we have be awaiting your arrival.
Feel me, smell me;
can you taste betrayal?"
An insect,
quite large, like me...
very creepy in sorts
pus filled, green blemishes
surrounding his lips;
wreaking of stale cigarette
and raunchy sex
I cringe,
as a quiver runs
down my spine.
I shake out of his
grasp,
gathering my thoughts,
"waiting? for me? who are you?
quit humping my leg!"
"my name? call me Sid...
you really make my 'mojo' flow-
Your scent makes me horny,
so pretty, you know?
follow me.
It's time to awaken-
open your blind eyes
to the birthplace
of evil;
where love doesn't exist"
Pinching my leg
trying to escape,
the scum bag cricket
chuckles with my unease.
"Feeling... nauseated?
to your left you will find
the factory of dis-ease..."
a smoke stack pluming
clouds of purple and orange.
"this is where we create
new viruses, and bacterias
that will eat beings from
inside and out through
the skin-
and that drainpipe?
that is cancer pouring
out.."
a river of green toxins
runs by my feet,
"and this, this is
the ultimate,"
pointing up a shale hillside,
"this is what you "Humans" eat.
fast-food, processed, all the dye
and salt... honestly? you didn't think
you Beings came up with it yourselves!"
I see it standing tall,
surrounded by shadow-
a rock table,
and chairs-
Elementals gathering around....
concocting and jotting
recipes of disaster-
then something strikes me;
the beating of a drum
wrapping faster and harder
ahhhh- this journey....
is almost done.
I look into the creature's eye,
then jab it quickly with my thumb.
I twist and I pry,
until it comes out-
"Now I know,
and I'll return...
next time I will bring with me, an army"
"An army? you will never conquer us,
darling...
you humans breed fear"
"with my army, I will bring LOVE!!!!"
and with that being said,
my protectors sent me a dove.
I jumped on her back
I flicked off the ick,
hitting the bug,
"you stupid girl!!! we will win!
we will get you!"
and away we flew-
up, up, up into blue.
The moral of this tale,
is always be complete-
surround oneself with light
and ask protection from
your fleet...
An astral travel may seem as fun
but jimmy up against
lower vibrations;
I was lucky,
I survived this one.

thanks a bunch!!! I had a lot of fun with this one; yes it is long winded at times, but it had to be- otherwise I'd a had to skip things....
this is one of those "to be continued" epics
later in due time, I will add another part.
      yippeee! Gotta love imagination!

This was very very wild .....
like alice in wonderland on blue sunshine...
but this did go a big step further..
it really took the reader along....
just a very cool progression of images
    and very well written.

    Graet job lass!

    I dig this poem!
I've never had a bad trip, and I hope I never do, because bugs scare the shit out of me and if one as tall as me was humping my leg I tottally skitz out, but I really like this piece, and all the imagery, not to mention your minds eye perception of disease toxins cancer hate and horridness in general.

    I tottally dig this!
    Great write!
