Black and red in the sunset
Sun taking a last peak
Over the distant rocky crag
Roman pillars support the vaulted ceiling
Gilded and adorned by craftsmen
A light cool breeze
Carries the smell of the sea
As high stratus floats past
The wind pulls at her dress
As the lovers gaze aft
Not a creature but them
In this little slice of heaven
Hand in hand the drink it in
The sight
The smell
The sound of the waves gently crushing the stones
As the darkness closes in
The couple gets closer
And with that, we'll take our leave.
