Let's nurture fundamental peace
don't kowtow to a taunt,
instead put a smile upon your face
as graciousness you flaunt.
For many people will offend
and make you feel most bleak,
just don't take umbrage at their words
remember you're unique.
And when those cirrocumulus
clouds try to mar your day,
just turn right round and stand up tall
and chase those blues away.
Don't ever try to massage pride
that makes such people worse,
the only way to deal with them
is treat them in reverse.
It's sure to make then wonder why
your attitude's so calm,
just sit them down and talk to them
you have them in your palm.

People are strange, aren't they? This piece reminds me of the Bible verse about turning the other cheek. Wish I could do that more. Sometimes I just burst out so your poem is worth remembering.
