If I could

I don't know what I see in my world
The strangeness of it all is that I find beauty in all of it.
Early morning conversations, soon forgotten
The meaning does not travel past the morning
Wasted away like the memories I once thought I contained
Urges to give it all up to find something better
The wish for the great perhaps
The courage it takes will never exist
The need remains here
Forever pondering what could have been found

Please tell me what you think

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
