Overwound

lovesick lullaby
tucked away
in Teddy Bear's tummy
love is stuffed
with a key

childlike, tender melody
once wound too tightly
a small bitter fight
cannot unwind
her broken melody

soft toys and singing hearts
now... just broken parts

    So beautiful lass..
Had a music box sort of feel...
    Fragile and soft....
yet i felt great sadness from
    the title and tone.
A moving and poetic piece of art.

    Bless your heart
    little gypsy,
    Liam

    gotta say

This is as charming as it is concise, yet menaigful all along
I favoured the beginning at first, but as I kept reading I found that the character of the poem as a whole deserves equal applause.

Yet I am afraid I haven't captured the whole idea, hell I might have not captured it at all, but what I saw delighted me, there's a sadness and an experience entertwined gracefully together, and truly,
it's all I need to understand.

    Very good penning,
    dear poet

    Lots of meaning in that.
