You will breathe but I will live...
taking the extra steps
in psychological mortification.
Rooms constructive
of bones and blood...
{{ blood is prettier than wallpaper}}
screams are today's
lullabies,
and tears are God's elixir.
Angels versus Demons
as they say,
running down the corridoor
escaping this nightmare
Two headed evil demon,
striking at the heels of
reality
Janus
Angel
Devil...
Where is the sanctity
in this world?
A brazen speech
on the top of
the highest altar
as rain pours down
they declare...
" You will breathe, but I will live..."
Author notes
fucking...writers block. I was sort of inspired by the Angels & Demons movie. The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer is amazing...

There's some beautiful imagery here all the way through... I think one of the hardest things for poets to do is to create an experience for the reader... Here, you've done just that... The "meaning" is so tightly bound to the rhythm of each line,
The title: You will breathe, but i will live. is just so vivid... to just breathe is not the same as living.
{{blood is prettier than wallpaper}} is just an exquisite phrase. Any particular thing you are trying to get across with the double brackets? Perhaps how deep in the mind or spirit this feeling?
I do enjoy watching your work take shape...

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I love writing, it's a form of creativity that I just get. But I don't really understand where it all comes from. I just put words together and they just seemingly flow beautifully together.
I don't really know where the brackets came from...but I thought it looked pretty ha ha ha.

Well, if I can take a guess here, any type of art that we do is instintive and natural. We are all artists in our own individual ways. Art's a communication... each of us is compelled to communicate with others.
