We met when we were so young,
Grew up together,
Spent every loving moment with in each others arms,

We now grow old together,
Living happily ever after........
If only life were that simple,
Yes we met still young,
We grew up mentally,
You made more mistakes,
Had so many do-overs,
You left me for the excitment of the "real world",
I waited every night for my hour long phone call,
Wishing to hear the words that meant so much,
"Baby I love you, & I want to change.....I just want you"
But finally I understand,
If a person is trapped in the shadows....all there is to do is give up on the search,
If they cant find the light....they cant be helped.....,
But dont worry baby,
I'm here to guide the way,
We are in this together,
