tightrope wire.

you have me tip-toeing on the edge of the earth
dancing on eggshells that crackle beneath my feet
and grasping at your whispers for safety.

they have more substance than you ever did.

i can feel the sun's rays lapping at my skin like
a dog in summer on a humid, lazy day.
i put the rings of saturn on my left hand finger
and pretended you were the sky.

will you catch me when i fall?

    - I absolutely adored that bit. Your words are so gentle and soothing, yet capture the intensity of emotion. Stunningly gorgeous write.♥
