Never Put This Body In A Coffin

Sprawling down crevices of lost sanctity
Eyes grasping solidified thoughts of curiosity.
Marching heel to heel to your submarine
Holding the heads of the youth
submerged in perversions of repulsiveness.
Glide into the sanctum of your inner chapel
Raise the sword of indifference to the sky and say
Never put this body in a coffin!

Persistence disillusions of hallow intentions.
You're the ration of flawlessness
that relieves the people of the world.
The minorities of oppression.
Lies of the corrupted chauvinist that dictate our actions.
Stretch your body into the vastness of possibilities.
Release everything you despise and claim you're stance in the universe.
Do not challenge the true strength of your opinion.
Embrace those whom need to be embraced
Comfort those whom need to be comforted.
Encourage those whom need to be encouraged.
Hold strong the dagger of redemption
Tie the strings around the instability of fate
And let your body fall into the abyss of eternity

    A poem of integrity

    Old school values that not enough people uphold...as my daddy used to say...gotta stand for something ere you fall... Pewerful strong pen...yes. defiant. I like the angry tilted chin of this

    I like the defiant nature of the poem, where the main character breaks away from his slavers and claims his own path. The last two lines leave me a bit puzzled, though. Thanks for entering!

      Thank you for the comment. I'll try to clear up some of the confusion on the last two lines. "Tie the strings around the instability of fate" String being used in a nature that secures two things together, that thing being fate in this case and the individuals self-control and strength. Basically, grab control of your own fate, don't let alleged predestination dictate your abilities. "And let your body fall into the abyss of eternity" meaning, go with the flow, don't fight the vastness of the universe, but learn to swim in stride. It's used as a means of release from the grind, and true happiness.
