Laughing,
I try not to let you convince me
that what you're saying is true

but that doesn't stop
a burning curiosity
from making me type
two words into Google
and waiting
for the search results.

And instantly
I'm addicted.

I thought I'd found my calling
long ago
in the depth
and beauty of music

But perhaps
I can use my passion
and enthusiasm
for something bigger

and it appears
that I have a passion
for something else...

I have experienced
the adrenaline rush
the frustrated tears
the satisfactory smiles

the feeling of a real team.

Those experiences
have driven me
to something new
something exciting

and something terrifying

But also
something else that I know I can't live without.
