as she slipped into the hands of depression,
with her on going aggression,
all the abuse that no one saw,
one time they almost broke her jaw,
little by little she slipped away,
she barely made it day to day,
her parents thought it was just a phase,
but to her it was a maze,
everyone laughed as she walked down the hall,
they even made fun of her through phone calls,
then she decided she'd had enough,
so instead she started to cut,
no one understood why,
but there were so many reasons for her to cry,
one day they found her lying on the floor,
she said she couln't take life anymore,
she said the razor 'slipped',
that she had lost her grip,
luckily that girl survived,
I'm sure your wondering who she may be,
but she's right here...
SHE was ME

This is really intense. I'm going to assume that it's based on truth, if not all true, and say that that's a really powerful story, and I think it will be really helpful to a lot of people who read it and might be going through similar things...But I really dig the narrative form; I like poems that tell a story, it's a nice change from poems that focus on one particular moment or feeling. But aaaaanyway, I really like this (and the title is awesome, just thought I'd mention it). So yeah, basically this is awesome.

wow. that's really powerful, and i'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you are doing better!
