Poison


Your poison words taint my mind with venom
As it strikes loathing into my heart
Like a vortex of a thousand stings
Digging into my flesh, a permanent mark
Shadows still surround me in the dark
Hanging like unwanted puppets on strings
Blood still falls from these hollow eyes
Spilling onto the ground in a pool of crimson
So your essence surrounds me no longer

I am free of you, and this poison...

    It's alright, nice flow. It's fragmental in it's story though... and "Your poison words taint my mind with venom" sounds bad. Really bad.

    Interesting

    It is possible for a person of a wicked nature to poison another with bitter words and hateful actions. I was raised by a person who could do just that.

    a very good and dark write about life as being poisonous to everyone. and yea we all do have poison i our hearts flowing through our veins like blood but we can't do nothing bout it past is past and present is present the only thing we can hope to work on is the future. great peice of poetry my friend

    well this is certainly your style of writing and its dark enough to really penetrate ones thick skull any ways a mighty fine write and I liked how this went because it cna be interrepted in many different ways but either way I think we all have a posion in ourr lives that we need to get rid of cast away you cna say but in th end it all comes down to will power and support. any ways nice write 3 clappys
